Short Description: This LTD4 Competitive ELISA is an in-vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the measurement of samples in all cell culture supernatant, serum and plasma (EDTA, citrate, heparin).
Storage Instruction: If unopened the kit may be stored at 2-8°C for up to 1 month. If the kit will not be used within 1 month, store the components separately, according to the component table in the manual.

Specificity: This kit recognizes LTD4 in samples. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between LTD4 and analogues was observed.
Sample Type: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids
Background This ELISA kit uses the Competitive-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with LTD4. During the reaction, LTD4 in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of LTD4 on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to LTD4. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) are added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The concentration of LTD4 in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
